Evidence required for each study

  • Farm consent and an approved, anonymised farm profile
  • Bird type, strain, age, flock size, housing and season
  • Baseline feed, water, health, vaccination and medication programme
  • Exact product, batch, dose, route, duration and concurrent changes
  • Defined outcomes such as corrected FCR, mortality, uniformity or egg mass
  • Raw records, comparison method, economics, limitations and veterinary review

Proposed study format

Each future study will separate the farm objective, baseline, protocol, results and limitations. Charts will show absolute values and dates, not only percentage claims, with commercial calculations stating their assumptions.
